In the spring of 2022, a group of CASA volunteers united to establish Champions for CASA. Drawn from both present and past CASA volunteers, these compassionate individuals witnessed the profound effects of their advocacy in their CASA child(ren)'s lives. However, in this impactful journey, they couldn't overlook the stark reality that thousands of children in foster care still need their own CASA volunteer to champion for their voices. Motivated by this unmet need, they set out to champion change through focused recruitment and retention efforts to ensure every child in the foster care system finds a devoted and unwavering supporter in a CASA volunteer.
